CORPORATE CLEANLINESS: IMPACT AND MOTIVATION
During the Workplace Meeting, held on 21 and 22 November last year, Damien Barnier, Account Manager, shared with the main buyers in the sector (General Services Directors, EVT managers, etc.) the main lessons learned from the study conducted for ONET to measure the importance of cleanliness for French employees and its impact on their well-being and motivation at work.
IPSOS corporate cleanliness study
“Cleanliness is essential,” says Damien Barnier, Account Manager at Ipsos. “It is everywhere yet is not very visible, its challenges are not often communicated in public debates. And yet, this study proves that people in France see it as really important. 8 out of 10 French people have refused to do something or go somewhere in their day-to-day lives (restaurants, hotels, shops, etc.) because they are unclean. This finding is indisputable and shows to what point cleanliness influences our everyday lives.”
CLEANLINESS AS A SOURCE OF WELL-BEING AT WORK
The figures speak for themselves. 94% of French employees consider that hygiene and cleanliness contribute to a good atmosphere in the office and 93% feel more motivated when their surroundings are clean and tidy.
INDUSTRIAL CLEANLINESS BOOSTING PERFORMANCE
Furthermore, cleanliness is a great tool for efficiency in the company. Employees can see this for themselves: 85% of them claim that cleanliness has a positive impact on their performance at work.
CLEANLINESS IN THE WORKPLACE, EVERYBODY’S RESPONSIBILITY
A responsibility for employers and employees alike. Although 86% of employees believe that cleanliness is the employer’s responsibility, its maintenance is everybody’s business, especially employees themselves according to 95% of those questioned.
NEW CLEAN’BOX SWEEPER
The Clean’Box sweeps, sucks up and collects waste in one go thanks to its collection box. It saves the user time, and makes the work easier and more comfortable: low maintenance and ready to use. The forklift truck transforms into a sweeper.
CONSTRUCTION BERTRAND DIONNE TESTIMONIAL
Bertrand Dionne has a sizeable advantage in its fleet of forklift trucks. Techlift, a partner and distributor of Emily’Clean in Canada, suggested getting a Leader’Clean industrial sweeper.
